SO HOW DO WE GO ABOUT THIS?

We’ll discuss what you’re looking to do at the initial consultation and ask questions about your circumstances that can help guide us when it comes to finding a suitable mortgage deal. Subject to agreement, we’ll then arrange a follow-up appointment and begin our search for that perfect mortgage option.


Once we have a mortgage deal for you, we’ll look to secure a DIP from the lender that basically cements the loan they’re willing to make, subject to a valuation of the property.


Then we start with the application. We’ll need all the right documents for the lender to review (we’ll list out what’s needed, so don’t worry) and we’ll go through it all and make sure everything’s in order.
The lender then checks all this information and arranges an independent valuation of the property.


If everything checks out, the lender will offer a mortgage. This is when the solicitor enters the fray and sorts out all the paperwork so you can move to the new mortgage.


The process is then completed and money is pulled to clear the outstanding balance.
